MARZI is an animation artist based in Berlin and Cologne, who works in the field of traditional and digital 2D animation, stopmotion, set design, characterdesign, videomapping, and sculpturing.

In terms of her workflow and content, Marzi does not only focus on sustainability but also works primarily with recycled materials and pays strict attention to her ecological footprint during the production of her artwork. All her non virtual artworks are made by more than 95 percent recycling materials. Her trademarks are bright colors and the combination of critical messages with childlike imperfection.
